Película 2012: 11th Spanish Film Festival in Manila

It's Película time once again in Manila! The annual Spanish film festival featuring the best of Spanish and Latin American cinema starts on October 4th and runs until the 14th at the Greenbelt 3 Cinemas, Makati City. (And by the way, according to the Instituto Cervantes de Manila, it's the most important and most celebrated Spanish-language film festival in Southeast Asia.)

Check out the film schedule:

Plus as a special treat for this year's festival, they're flying in Spanish director Alberto Rodriguez to present his film, Grupo 7, and chat with the audience about the film after the screening. So be sure to catch Grupo 7 on October 8th!

Don't know what to watch?
Here's some more info about the films:

The Instituto Cervantes de Manila website already has the synopsis of each film, so what I did here is just double check their IMDb ratings. Where the IMDb ratings are not available, I checked Film Affinity instead. (Film Affinity is a Spanish organization, so I'm betting their ratings of these films are pretty dependable. I noticed though that people on Film Affinity tend to give lower ratings that those on IMDb, so take their ratings with a grain of salt.)
